About

Content

  • Only tasteful gravure is posted here (and not often). If you’re expecting to see random pictures of idols in bikinis or whatever, please do not expect to see any of that on this blog. I state this first because for some reason, many adult-oriented blogs seem to follow me.
    • !June 2017 UPDATE: All blogs with porn content will be blocked from following my blog. Same goes if you’re a porn blog and are reblogging my posts. This is due to a major increase of porn, spam, and fetish blogs following recently. I do not want my content showing up on these blogs, like seen here.

  • I don’t have any interest in the Hello! Project or 48 groups. Sorry, you will not find any of those groups here.
  • You can see all the groups this blog covers on this page. Groups marked “Hot” are the primary groups I blog about. Many of the groups are lesser known idols. I blog about them in hopes to get them a little more known to people outside of Japan. Also, I enjoy blogging!
  • For the most part, I just dump pictures I like. However, I will also provide info on upcoming releases or interesting news I find appealing and sometimes lyric translations.
  • Excluding reblogs, I usually post 3+ posts a day.

Organization

  • I keep everything very organized on this blog. Every post is tagged by at least group and member name (in both English and Japanese). Sometimes additional, more specific tags will be included such as a festival name so that posts for all groups who participated can easily be viewed.
  • The search bar at the top right of the page can also be used to find posts. This searches through all text in a post and is not limited to just tags.
  • I add sources to everything. Giving credit is really important, even if it’s just a random selfie picture from Twitter, it should have a source.
  • For pictures from Twitter, I use the Tweet embed. This makes it really fast and easy to give the original uploader a like/retweet on Twitter. I don’t know why more people don’t utilize this. It may look a little strange on the dashboard since you see extra stuff, but it looks nice on your actual blog (example).

Reblogging/Following

  • I only reblog posts with proper sources (if they aren’t original content, that is). I like to know where everything comes from. Also, it is very important that the original posters are given the credit they deserve.
  • I’m sorry, but I don’t follow many blogs. I strictly use Tumblr to blog about idols. I tend to not follow because I don’t really wish to see non-idol related content. Instead, I track the tags to all the idol groups I like and always check new posts that show up and will like/reblog there.
